How your donation reaches them
Assess the damage
Field teams survey affected households within days.
Deliver essentials
Food, water and shelter materials reach the worst-hit families first.
Rebuild
Materials and labour help families repair or rebuild their homes.
Follow-up
We return until the family is stable again, and report back to donors.
Floods, fires and storms hit the poorest families hardest, because their homes are the least protected. Our field teams live in the regions they serve, so when disaster strikes we are already there.
Emergency donations fund food, clean water, tarpaulins, bedding and rebuilding materials. Every response is recorded with photos and follow-up visits.
“The fire took everything in one night. By the end of the week we had food, bedding and a roof over the children.”
Why we do it
“Whoever relieves a believer of hardship in this world, Allah will relieve him of hardship on the Day of Resurrection.”
Sahih Muslim
